Born in Kanagawa prefecture.

In his childhood, Ayame grew up as one who in any way was a cute child. A person with attractive face and figure, excellent academic results, a captain, a committee member, and later on as the chairman of the sports club, the type of guy who you wonder if he walked out of a shojo manga, was how he passed his school days.

As a teenager, he listened to L’Arc-en-Ciel and similar stuff, but it was only when he met music through the computer did his interest in music itself seriously started. The first demo song from computer music he bought was one that contained the song “kurumi wari ningyou”^[1], and with this he became a mania of Tchaikovsky, which is his favourite composer up till the present day. In his middle school days, not only computer music, things related to homepage and database graphics, he learnt all these various things through the computer on his own.

During this period he started composing songs using the computer. Because of this he thought someone who can play musical instruments is cool/good, he started to learn the keyboard and guitar. When he was 15, he composed his first song. At that time the melodies made were not really proper songs but more of those that seem like melodies used in games.

During his high school years, besides computer and music, he developed interests in mathematics, physics, history, politics, psychology and such, and displayed strong interest towards knowledge. During his student days, his future dream was to become a scholar.

Again, in year 2000 Sydney Olympics when Japan representatives qualified for it, he became fond of soccer, and after this through NHK was impressed by Barcelona’s soccer performance, and until the present day, watching soccer became one of his favourite hobbies.

When he first started a band, he took the role of the vocalist. The first band was a copyband of LUNA SEA, and the band name was “Shinaruu”.^[2]

After this, the feelings towards creating a band that played original songs became strong, and with that he formed an original band. This band had female vocals and twin guitars, and with 6 people he started his band activities as a keyboardist. From then on he concentrated on being a keyboardist, and after a number of bands, in 2006, formed Ry:dia. From this time on, he seriously stepped into the visual kei world and started his musical activities.

The first live held at a livehouse was at Yokosuka REVERB, the second live was held at Yokohama Arena Sound Hall (Now known as: SUNPHOENIX HALL), but the crowd was sparse.

The first time he met Matenrou Opera members was during the summer of 2007. His first impression was, “No matter what everyone is serious about music”.

In year 2007, he joined Matenrou Opera.

2007 December 23 at Omotesando FAB, he performed his first live as Matenrou Opera’s keyboardist.

2008 March, he had the experience of a Europe tour. He felt insecure about performing lives overseas in places he did not know of, but upon seeing the reality that they had many fans even overseas, it made him have the thought of being really happy.

In 2009 July 23, he welcomed the first oneman live he in his life at Akasaka BLITZ. On this day he revealed for the first time a shoulder keyboard he bought years ago, and gave the guests on that day a surprise.

After that frequently, while sitting or standing as a peony, performing stature like a lily, as though his existence was for such reasons, is present up till today.
